LinkedIn Banners
I wanted to create a LinkedIn banner in the style of a design system created in figma. This to show my UI design passion, and my creativity, as well as my details.
Whilst designing this banner, I was thinking about the words; 'slick', 'professional' and yet, 'cheeky'.
Someone told me that Charlie ticks all the boxes of a perfect employee, so I wanted to express that with a tick list and check box type style, honing in on Charlies awesome qualities and achievements.

Whilst designing this banner, I really tried to think about Jon's personality and passions.
Some of the inspiration was centered around- comics, superheroes, mental health journey, dark to light...

I was thinking about Keith Atherton's artistic nature and my wanting to encourage him to promote himself and his achievements. So I put his image onto a badge/plaque, surrounded by his certs and created a 'wall of fame' style banner with lots of colours.
Janet gave me a wonderfully enthusiastic amount of info regarding her personality, passions, and achievements and I immediately knew how I wanted to portray it. Inspiration came from storytelling, strength, beliefs and community.
Whilst designing this banner, Ben gave me a few ideas of who he is as a person and how he likes to bring value to the community/industry. The main themes I wanted to convey, were 'calm', 'thoughtful' and 'sharer of knowledge' to those that follow him on his journey.
When designing this cover, the requirements were - a specific colour, the SPPUG highland cow and Stuart's roles. I started to think about fields, hills, the night sky and the cow's body shape created with a simple gradient. Stuart loves Lego, so it only seemed sensible to have it in the background adding texture to the 'sky', and the Kerv logo being like the moon.
When designing this cover, the details that Graeme gave me were to relate it to his blog theme, make it simple, and add his job title. He mentioned that he loves to share what he knows with others and that he's a country boy at heart. So I thought about the countryside, the route towards knowledge and the black, white and orange colour scheme of his blog site. I also used the NI island shape to create the trees.
This banner was designed with Formula 1 and Power Platform in mind, as two of Craig's passions. Different aspects of Craig's community work have been added to a race flag and the overall design shows Craig's knowledge level and contributions, as he races laps to help the community grow and learn.
Whilst designing my LinkedIn banner, I wanted to incorporate the style of my website, the Tech Trump Card initiative, and my professional make up. I wanted it to be simple yet powerful.
